Bryan Hulbert – WHEATLAND, Mo. (September 16, 2020) Following a tough weekend in Nebraska and Missouri, Harli White and Johnny Herrera spent the week at Lucas Oil Speedway regrouping and rebuilding the Life of Hope Ministries No. 17w in preparation for the Hockett/McMillin Memorial.

"It was a tough weekend. About the time we'd find speed, luck would run out, but sometimes it goes that way," stated White of the weekend.

In action at the Casey's General Store Midwest Fall Brawl and Bobby Parker Memorial at I-80 Speedway on Saturday, White ended up 14th in the 35-Lap A-Feature.

Talking about the night, White stated, "The car felt good, we just didn't have any forward drive. It was getting in nice and working, but it's like I was dragging an anchor the whole night."

Making a last-minute decision to take on the Sprint Invaders at Randolph County Raceway on Sunday, White looked to be on the way to a third-place finish; however, with six laps to run, something in the front suspension gave up and nearly sent White flipping.

"It was a terrifying feeling, to say the least. I drove into turn one, and she wasn't turning," said Harli. "I think I did just about everything but flip, which was the last thing I wanted to do at that track. It's just as fast at I-80, but without a catch fence, so I wasn't looking forward to that ride."

Rolling into the pits at Lucas Oil Speedway on Monday, White and Herrera went over the car, rebuilding and replacing most of the suspension, and making sure the car was still square. The Hockett/McMillin Memorial takes place September 17-19 in Wheatland, Mo. Live coverage can be found at http://www.lucasoilracing.tv.
